Circuit, stage and off-road motorsport demand teams that are already in the right place when something happens. Alba EMS positions clinical teams, road and 4x4 emergency ambulances and treatment facilities around the layout of your event.
Position and access
Cover measured in access time, not headcount.
Motorsport risk is concentrated: braking zones, corner exits, jumps, junctions and spectator vantage points. The planning question is not how many crews are on site but how quickly a team can reach each of those points, and whether the route stays usable while competition continues.
We agree resource positions, stage or session hold procedures, rendezvous points and extraction routes with the clerk of the course and event control before running starts, and our medical liaison stays in contact with control throughout.
Off-road and forest venues use 4x4 ambulances and off-road stretcher equipment so a casualty away from a sealed road can be reached and moved properly rather than improvised.

Motorsport medical cover questions
Do you provide trackside ambulances?
Yes. Road and 4x4 emergency ambulances and crews are deployed to suit the circuit, stage or off-road terrain, including blue-light response capability where the plan requires it.
Can you cover forest stages and off-road venues?
Yes. Off-road configurations, 4x4 ambulances and off-road stretcher equipment allow teams to be positioned away from sealed roads, with defined extraction routes to a rendezvous point.
Do you cover competitors, marshals and spectators?
The medical plan sets out cover for all groups on site. Marshals and spectators at exposed vantage points are a distinct risk from the competitors themselves and are resourced accordingly.
Can you meet a specific championship or licensing requirement?
Send us the medical specification your championship, licensing body or venue requires at enquiry stage and we will build the plan and resourcing around it.
What about practice, qualifying and testing days?
Cover periods are agreed in the medical plan and can include testing, practice, qualifying and race sessions rather than race day alone.
